Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act applies to public authorities including local government and gives a general right of access to recorded information held, subject to certain conditions and exemptions.  It places a duty on every public authority to adopt and maintain a publication scheme which sets out the classes of information the authority publishes or intends to publish, how that information may be obtained and any charge that is made for it. The Parish Council publication scheme has been approved and is available as a pdf file.
